Thanks for you thought – but please know that every thing I write is written first to myself. I always try to give every “sermon” to myself first, then to others (we leave ourselves wide open when we try to teach others, don’t we :-) – I’m really hard on myself knowing this). It is human to want what WE want and not what God wants. We all have to work hard to mold ourselves to Him; thankfully, if we can ask Him and He enables us to do it!

We all SAY we want the church Jesus built, but when it comes right down to it, we want the kind of church WE like. The first church wasn’t a building, it wasn’t an organization, it wasn’t entertaining – it was FAMILY! Brothers and sisters taking care of one another. A group of people of all walks of life, all ages – a diversity that would shame us today – who gave up EVERYTHING so that no one else in the group would suffer or be in want. All this because they knew the ONE who gave up everything so that we could one day be with Him!
