Great one. An answer to why thankfulness may be II Cor.4:15. "All this is for your benefit so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God." NIV
Understanding grace produces thanksgiving and thanksgiving overflows to the glory of God. Now backtrack. If there is no glory to God, maybe there is no thanksgiving. If there is no thanksgiving, maybe there is not an understanding of grace. I've preached and led singing in a lot of churches that
did not focus much on praise and glory and not much on
thanksgiving. So, thanks for the shot on thankfulness.
