Of course, I know that I am a bit \\"out of step\\" with most of my generation!!! but I don\\\'t have a problem with women serving in many capacities, the exception being as elders. I don\\\'t even have a problem with instruments as a salvation issue. One of the best things I learned several years ago, when I sang a few years with the Wylie Baptist Living Christmas Tree, was that the people there were trying just as hard as I to live right and serve Jesus. Some of those women who prayed (in the presence of men!) prayed lovely, spiritual prayers. At that time I had broken my ankle and those people prayed for me, and were just as concerned for me as anyone else I knew. I grew to love many of those dear sweet people, and still do.
