Post Hurricane

Please check my post on Heartlight.org about helping those whose lives have been severely impacted by the recent hurricanes. I’d love to get your reaction to that post and also your ideas on how we can be ready to help those whose lives are severely impacted by future natural disasters.

  1. Thank you for the well written and timely reminder!
    You are right, prayer is always the best and first thing we can do to help others; in this situation and other natural disasters like it, one thing that we can do is to help through “Churches of Christ Disaster Relief” based in Nashville, TN.

  2. Thank you, Phil, for another great Heartlight article. My heart aches for all those affected by the hurricanes. There are ways each of us can help, however small these may seem, if each person did whatever they can do, it would make a huge difference in the lives of those affected. And as you said in your article, we can all pray. With God, all things are possible!

  3. I can only say I am so thankful for every thing God has blessed me with as I feel so helpless and hurting for all the people who have lost so much.

    I pray that their faith is so strong that they will eventually start over with God and other peoples help.
