Prayer Team
Many of you already know about the upcoming Uganda trip with Compassion International. If you are not aware of the details, check the “Uganda with Compassion!” tab at the bottom of the picture above. It will give you many of the details.
On my heart today is the success of the trip: our hope is to get more than 500 children sponsored each month. So I’m asking anyone the Lord touches with this plea to sign up to be a part of the prayer team. Through the comment feature below, I ask that if you are willing to be a part of the prayer team that you offer a blessing or prayer in the comments you leave. This will be your way of committing to pray for these efforts. Thanks!
For the next several weeks, I am asking you to be in prayer for us with two primary prayer targets:
- Hearts of people to be touched so that we can find at least 500 monthly sponsors for children throughout the world through Compassion International
- Compatibility, good health, safe travel, and redemptive influence for our team going to Uganda and that we are a blessing to the children and Compassion staff with whom we interact
Lord bless these people that are going to Uganda.
Keep them safe before going, while away, and please bring all safely home to their familes. May
Children’s lives be touched Father, through these
people, and those going be touched in their lives
through the children. Others of us would like to
go, but can’t, so thank you, Lord, for letting this
team be the hands, feet, arms, and voices for me.

Mighty Father, Glorious God, Beloved Friend.
Humbly I ask that the people travelling to Uganda may be protected in every way, every day by your merciful Hand.
If it be Your Will:
May they know that their families back home are kept safe and healthy in your care while they are away.
May they find the sponsorship they seek, pressed down and flowing over, in good time.
May everyone they meet on their travels be blessed by the contact.
May they sow the good seed of the Gospel in fertile land, and may that seed grow into an abundant crop, yielding a bumper harvest of souls in Uganda.
May everyone return home fulfilled and blessed by their experiences, savouring their memories of a beautiful country in beautiful Africa.
I ask this in the name of our blessed Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lord, please bless your servants as they prepare for your work. Guide them and bless them as they leave on their journey. Protect their loved ones left behind and give them peace of mind. Prepare those whom they will be serving to accept them and Your mission. In Christ’s name I pray.

Most gracious heavenly Father,
Thank you for Phil and the team he is a part of. Thank you for his willingness to answer your command to go into all the world and preach Jesus. What a blessing he has been to me in my own life and I know to many others through the Heartlight web site ministry.
Father God, I ask that you send your angels to protect this team in their travels, that you go before them and prepare the way, that you give them your words, thoughts and action, that you open the eyes of those in Uganda they are visiting and that many souls will be won for your kingdom.
Thank you again Lord for your loving kindness and mercy, and forgive us those times that we fail you.

Dear Lord, we thank you for the team thats has decided to take their good hearts to Uganda. We beg you dear lord to guide them and protect them in all ways. Be with them and help them accomplish what they went to do in Uganda. I know Uganda needs alot of help and I thank you for sending your ambassadors there. I also pray that they get to see the beautiful places of Uganda as well.

dear Heavenly Father,
i come to You, in Jesus Name, and i plead the precious drops of Jesus blood over phil and the entire team traveling to Uganda…
i ask that a hedge of thorns and a wall of angels to surround them about wherever they might go.
Holy Spirit please unstop the ears and remove the scales from people’s eyes to truly see who Jesus was and is.
i pray for peace and safety to pave the way for this entire trip.

Phil, here is another trip being made for all the right reasons. I’m sure there will be hassles and especially expenses, but it will all be worth it.

Father God,
I pray over Psalm 91 for the beautiful vessels that are doing Your calling on this mission. Cover them with Your feathers and protect them. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that the ENEMY be cast far away into a deep dry abyss from these brothers and sisters in Christ and from the areas they are about to enter!
